3M Xtract low-profile support discs are sturdy yet flexible to provide versatility for orbital sanding and are designed to securely hold a 3M Xtract disc on an eccentric sander (sold separately). Part of the 3M Xtract range, it is designed for optimal dust removal by a dust extractor, which can suck the dust off the workpiece to extend the life of the disc and increase productivity. Use this low-grit support disc when good smoothing is required.
For aggressive flat sanding Our 3M Xtract low-profile backing pads are made of high-density foam with a blunt 35-degree tapered edge for extra durability. They are ideal for aggressive orbital sanding.
